AfroTech by Blavity, Inc. is a digital hub for Black S.T.E.M professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, & visionaries. As my second contract design job with RED VELVET in Austin, I created assets for their annual conference in Houston. This conference gives their digital hub a physical space with speakers and networking events made to celebrate and foster Black Excellence. With high-volume output and often quick turnaround times, I honed my ability to manage tight deadlines and stay organized. Contributing to an event that celebrates and uplifts Black professionals was really rewarding, and collaborating with RED VELVET again was a great experience.
